यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत | अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम् ||४-७||

yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānirbhavati bhārata . abhyutthānamadharmasya tadātmānaṃ sṛjāmyaham ||4-7||
Roman: yada yada hi dharmasya glanirbhavati bharata . abhyutthanamadharmasya tadatmanam srjamyaham
Whenever dharma declines and irreligion rises, I manifest Myself.
Whenever and wherever there is a decline in righteousness, O descendant of Bharata, and a rise of unrighteousness — at that time I manifest Myself on earth.
